All boys and girls ages 10-14 are invited to participate in the district level of competition for the 2006 Knights of Columbus Soccer Challenge. All contestants will participate individually in their respective age divisions by attempting 25 uncontested penalty kicks. Contestants will be scored on their accuracy of net placement. Winners in each division will advance to the regional competition with a shot at making the state championship. All participants will be recognized for their participation. Age eligibility is determined by the age of the contestant as of September 1. Proof of age and written parental consent are required. Scoring

Contestants will have 3 practice shots before attempting 25 uncontested penalty kicks from 12 yards. The goal is divided into 5 scoring zones. The upper corners are designated as 20 point zones. The lower corners are 10 points. The central region is 5 points.
