      Grand Knights Report - May 2007

Congratulations on a wonderful year!  Yes, we won the McGivney Membership Award!  Yes, we won the Columbian Service Award!  Yes, we won the Founder's Insurance Award!  Yes, we won STAR COUNCIL (maybe double star)!  Yes, we won the Missouri State Award for Family Activity of the Year!  Yes, we raised and contributed over $4,400.00 to countless hours of labor to charity this year.  Yes, we started our very own First Degree Team!  Yes, we held our very own First Degree!  Yes, we sponsored the first Eucharistic procession at Conception Seminary in over 30 years!  This is simply AWESOME!  But, what is more important than all of this?  Answer - We have all grown as Knights in the vision of Fr. McGivney.  We have all grown in our fraternal brotherhood.  We are closer than ever and we have memories that will last forever.  I wish to thank each of you for your dedication and hard work this year.  Together, we made a difference.  Please join me in supporting your new Grand Knight Brian Hess and his officers as they continue this momentum into our council's third year of fraternal activity!
