I know first hand just how important it is to protect your family. When I was 10 years old, my father died of lung cancer. He was only 41. At some point in his life, before his illness, he sat down with an insurance agent and made the decision to protect his family.
His decision helped me when I needed to buy a car and helped with college expenses. Dad took care of us when he was alive and he continued to do so after his death. My life would be very different if it were not for his decision to protect us with life insurance.
Today, I have the honor to sit down with Brother Knights and their wives and discuss ways in which they too can protect their families. It is a great joy for me to continue the vision of the Venerable Fr. Michael J. McGivney to see that all Catholic families protect themselves from financial devastation. I enjoy helping families better understand how life insurance can protect from loss of income, how fixed annuities can provide income for life, and how long-term care insurance protects retirement income and assets.
I have been serving brother Knights of Northern Virginia as a Field Agent since 2008. I have earned the designation of Fraternal Insurance Counselor (FIC) and I pursue professional development through membership in the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) and the National Association of Fraternal Insurance Counselors (NAFIC).
I joined the Knights of Columbus to serve my Church and be a part of the good works of our Order. Not long after, I took advantage of our Fraternal Benefits by following my father's footsteps of establishing a plan of protection for my family.
I have chaired the Basketball Free-Throw Challenge and the Soccer Challenge. I am a Past Grand Knight of Conception Seminary College Council 13750 which earned Double Star Council, the Supreme College Council Church Activity Award, and the State Council Family Activity Award.
